A Service Agreement from BID is designed to ensure that your operation runs smoothly, with an absolute minimum of disruption. To achieve this, BID have a comprehensive and extensive range of service programmes available on a national basis.
With any piece of machinery, especially a door that is not regularly serviced or maintained is more likely to breakdown incurring high repair costs.
Therefore at BID we feel that companies should consider having a regular programme of maintenance in place by setting up a Service and Maintenance Contract. As this would ensure companies are meeting their obligations under the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and Workplace (Health and Safety and Welfare) Regulations.

HOW DOES A SERVICE CONTRACT WORK
A Service Contract can be for as long as a customer requires
(annually or up to 3 years long). During the year doors can be either
serviced annually or bi-annually depending on the level of usage
and the customers operation.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SERVICE
During a normal service, a visual inspection is carried out to
check the overall condition of the door(s) as well as routine checks
to examine all areas for damaged or loose parts, helping to identify
problems at an early stage. A follow up report is issued listing any
parts/sections that need replacing/upgrading.
TYPE OF SERVICES AVAILABLE
BID understands the needs of customers and offers a complete range of service contracts for on-site maintenance and repair for both BID and competitor products. The level of services available are BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD.

Repair
BID have a dedicated 24hour manned call out repair service that is reactive and proactive to both our own and competitor products. Therefore customers can rely on knowing that they are receiving a reliable operation. This results in their doors either being repaired promptly and left in good working order or secured according to requirements.
Our services are supported by a highly trained and qualified team of engineers, backed by our extensive stock of both original and own patent parts. Resulting in a rapid solution to your repair and maintenance situations.
